"V" CHARM

Bronze amulet, 2012

This "V" charm is inspired by a Japanese amulet from a Buddhist Temple Chokenji in Kyoto, Japan. On the front of the original amulet is a stylized vulva image, and on the back are the Japanese words "Benzaiten" and "Chokenji".

The bronze amulet was created in 2012 and is dedicated to the goddess Benzaiten who is the representative of love and art. It is believed that by carrying the amulet, it will bring you luck and prosperity. In Japanese tradition, merchants carry it to ensure luck in business.
