The woman in this nude is depicted in unprettified way, her vagina is presented frontally, but does not reveal everything - her pubic area was painted over and thus abstracted. The viewer looks at the exposed student in voyeuristic manner. The woman's identity becomes indistinct due to the blur, the viewer is confronted with this intimate scene in an embarrassing way. Outstanding for its frontality, the pose in this nude seems shameless, obscene, pornographic. However, compared to other nudes created in the Renaissance or Baroque "The Student" is honest for cleary depicting the object of desire: the nude woman, her genitalia and her sexuality.
