Just the same as in the virtual opening exhibition VAGINA 2.0, the exhibition GEBURT_to animate started an OPEN CALL, in order to receive cultural stands on the topic via internet. Almost all submissions meet the criteria of the OPEN CALL regarding content, method and on an artistic level. Unfortunately, only a limited number of submissions could be selected due to financial reasons. They forge a thematic bridge and illustrate natural and artificial processes that create life as well as metaphorical conceptions of cultural creation. Contributions pertaining to the EXTENDED SELECTION could be integrated regarding to content.
