BRAIN ORGASM

Definition
"Brain orgasm" is a topic that wanders round literature and sexual sciences like a myth. After all, the brain is the most important sex organ since it's the region where several sense perceptions run together, reactions are operated and the emotional judgements of situations are delivered. For some it's a climax without genital stimulation but with breathing and visualising techniques and for others the climax happens only in the head. [1] [2]

Post-traumatic orgasm
„Brain orgasm" is a topic that plays a big role for paraplegic. Women can still experience uterine and cervical orgasms [UTERINE/CERVICAL ORGASM] through the vagus nerve which doesn't run along the spinal cord and often remains undamaged in injuries. Men can also experience the erection of the penis through the parasympathetic vagus nerve fibres. Some develop compensatory erogenous zones, such as the neck, and can enjoy orgasms through the stimulation of these regions. Other affected people learn to experience orgasms completely in their minds. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

Techniques
Special techniques like tantra allow for orgasms without genital stimulation. With the help of special breathing techniques, suitable pelvic movements and an active pelvic floor as well as the visualisation of sexual energy an orgasm can be experienced in the mind. Sex experts like Annie Sprinkle offer special workshops teaching similar techniques. [6] [8] [9]

ASMR - Orgasms
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a perceptual phenomenon characterized as a distinct, pleasurable tingling sensation in the back of the head in response to crawling movements, haircutting or hearing certain human voices. The nature and classification of the ASMR phenomenon is controversial and it remains unclear whether it has something to do with sexual orgasms. [2]
